East Point

East Point lightstructure marks the eastern extremity of Saturna, one of the Gulf Islands of BC. Ships passing through the Juan de Fuca Strait pass by this lighthouse before turning south towards Seattle and the USA, or north to Vancouver.

Originally the site of fully manned traditional lighthouse, the old structure has been demolished and replaced with this steel framework tower. The original fog signal house remains as a protected historic structure.
